Our KRYOfee application uses, among other things, the mode of action of the controlled cold stimulus for your subcutaneous fatty tissue.

Cryolipolysis (from Greek κρύος kryos = "cold, ice", λίπος lipos = "fat" and λύσις lysis = "solution, dissolution") is a cold application intended to reduce fatty tissue. It is a non-invasive technique in which a fat area is supercooled. The method has been approved in the USA for the treatment of fat deposits since 2010.
Cryolipolysis goes back to the Boston dermatologists Dieter Manstein and R. Rox Anderson.
Cryolipolysis takes advantage of the greater susceptibility of fat cells to cold compared to the surrounding tissue. The applicators are placed on the desired areas, brought to a temperature of - 8 to - 11 degrees and this cools the underlying fat tissue to about + 4 to + 5 degrees. A special fleece with gel between the skin and the applicator prevents frostbite. The fat cells undergo so-called apoptosis ("programmed cell death") and are broken down by the body. This can reduce the thickness of the fat layer. In addition, the tissue is repeatedly massaged against the skin during the treatment using variable vacuum suction.
Depending on the treatment area and findings, the device is individually programmed - our applicators constantly reach up to -11° Celsius. The quality of the device and the expertise of the practitioner are decisive for the success of the treatment.

Differences in cryolipolysis systems
In the meantime, there are a large number of corresponding devices. These differ considerably in purchase price and quality of workmanship. This also goes hand in hand with the different possibilities in terms of effectiveness. We work with the technology of a globally recognised manufacturer.
It is important for you to know that there are two fundamentally different types of applicators.
We estimate that over 95 % of practitioners in Germany still use the "2-plate cooling" system, which we believe is outdated. We use 360 ̊ cooling technology, which precisely distributes an even amount of cooling energy to the treatment zones. The even distribution of cooling energy can lead to highly effective and aesthetic results. According to the manufacturer, this cutting-edge technology can deliver cooling energy up to 18% more effectively than conventional devices with "2-plate cooling".
In addition, there are studios, salons, institutes, practices and clinics that only have a very limited selection of handpiece applicator variants for devices with 360 ̊ cooling technology. However, it is necessary to be able to respond precisely to the anatomy of the customer. This ensures a good quantity and quality in the context of customer comfort.
We use a variety of different applicator types that differ in shape and size. The smallest applicator is 7.7 X 2.9 cm and the largest measures 14.7 X 14.4 cm. How is the KRYOfee treatment structured in detail?
Step 1 - Preparation
After the consultation, you lie down on our comfortable treatment couch and we apply a light anaesthetic cream if desired. Now we cover the areas bordering the treatment area. A special fleece is now applied to the treatment area. This layer of fabric is soaked in anti-freezing gel and protects the epidermis from the cold effects of the KRYOfee application.
Step 2 - the application
After the preparations have been completed, the treatment handpieces are now positioned, which gently attach to the body by means of an adjustable vacuum. The already pre-cooled applicators cool the treatment zone for 40 - 60 minutes at up to - 11° Celsius.
Step 3 - after application
The handpieces and the special fleece are removed. Afterwards, the treated tissue (1 - 3 min.) is loosened by deep vibration with a device that is a certified medical product, which stimulates metabolic processes, among other things. The manufacturer of the vibration device is an official partner of the German national athletics team.
Step 4 - Final care
Finally, the skin is cleansed and cared for with specially selected treatment products.
